After living abroad for ten years (birth in Hamamatsu and close to six years living in Holland) I came back home to Budapest in 1993. I was predestined to be a humanist scholar and I still hope to get there.
After getting an MA grade in Historical Studies I also got an MA in Aesthetics. Art theory was in the end more of an impact on me.
As PhD student at ELTE, my basic interests now cover a wide range of areas: laughter philosophy, carnivalesque culture, dramatic art, comparative literature, burlesque movies, the "Unheimlich", maddness and foolnes theories, clown and fool transgressions, Michel Foucault, Mikhail Bakhtin and William Shakespeare, just to name a "few"...
